How do I pick a random winner?
Enter one name per line, choose your favorite effect, and click Let’s draw. By default, one winner is chosen and removed from future draws. Duplicate names are merged automatically.
Does everyone have an equal chance?
Yes. We use your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator with rejection sampling to give every eligible name the same chance. The visual effect does not change the odds. Repeat winners are disabled by default, and winners within a round are always unique.
Can I draw multiple winners or rounds?
The lucky wheel draws one name each time; click again for another draw. For the name sphere and card shuffle, open Advanced settings to choose rounds and winners per round. The name sphere reveals winners one at a time: each name rotates to the center, stays for one second, then moves to the results. Its between-winner spin defaults to three seconds and can be adjusted separately from the initial spin. You start each new round manually. If repeat winners are disabled, your pool must have enough names for the remaining rounds.
Can I use it on a projector or phone?
Absolutely. Use the fullscreen button in the top-right corner of the stage for presentations, parties, or classroom screens. All three effects work on mobile, too. On browsers without native fullscreen, the stage fills the browser window. 3D effects need WebGL; the wheel works without it.
Where are my names and results stored?
Your names, settings, and completed results are saved in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to our servers. You can export results as a CSV file, reset the session to clear winners, and clear names to remove your list. Private browsing or clearing browser data may erase your session.
